| Progress of biotechnology also brought many revolutions to the medical
field. Especially, regenerative medicine attracts attention by enabling
medical treatment which was impossible until now. Cell culture technology
will be one of the necessary technologies to realize medical validity and
medical safety in regenerative medicine field. In addition, cell culture
technology is indispensable for the basic research fields, such as drug
design and gene function analysis. Based on the non-serum culture-medium
development experience of advanced cell culture technology and many, CSTI
aim at the contribution to regeneration medicine or the basic research
